Important:
IPconfigurationisforadvancedusersandshouldnotbechanged,
unlessforaspecificreason.Disablingautomaticconfigurationwillaffect
compatibilitywithRaymarineMFDs.
The ConfigureIPoptionsare:
Automatically(DHCPon)Thisistherecommendedsettingwhichallows
IPaddressestobeautomaticallyassignedtoconnecteddevicesbythe
routerusingIPaddresseswithintherangespecifiedintheDHCPserver.
Manually(DHCPon)Thissettingallowsyoutomanuallyconfigurethe
router’sLANIPaddress,subnetmaskanddefaultgatewayandallows
connectingdevicestobeautomaticallyassignedanIPaddresswithinthe
rangeyouspecifyintheDHCPserver.
Manually(DHCPoff)Thissettingsallowsyoutomanuallyconfigurethe
router’sLANIPAddress,subnetmaskanddefaultgatewaybutdoesnot
assignIPaddressestoconnecteddevices.
Note:
WithDHCPswitchedoffeachwireddevicewillhavetobemanually
assignedanIPaddressinthesamerangeasyourrouter’sIPaddress.
