ThegroundingcableisconnectedtotheproductusingtheM3screwand
washersthataresuppliedpre-fittedtotheproduct’sgroundingpoint.
Thepreferredminimumrequirementforthepathtothevessel’sground
(bondedornon-bonded)isviaaflattinnedcopperbraid,witha30Aratingor
greater.Ifthisisnotpossible,anequivalentstrandedwireconductormaybe
used,ratedasfollows:
•forrunsof<1m(3ft),use6mm2(10AWG)orgreater.
•forrunsof>1m(3ft),use8mm2(8AWG)orgreater.
Inanygroundingsystem,alwayskeepthelengthofconnectingbraidor
wiresasshortaspossible.

Thesupplied5-in-1antennaisconnectedtotheantennaconnectionson
thetopoftheY achtSense™Linkunit.
Connectorsandcablesarelabelledappropriately.Connectionsaremade
bypushingtherelevantcableconnectorovertherelevantconnectoronthe
routerandsecuringbyturningtheconnectornutclockwiseuntiltight.
Theantenna’scableis5m(16.4ft)inlength.Thislengthcanbeextendedif
requiredusingtheoptional5m(16.4ft)extensioncable(A80701),fora
totalcablelength(includingtheantenna’ssuppliedcable)of10m(32.8ft).
