product,ensureyouobservethefollowingadvice:
•Thepowercableforeachunitinyoursystemshouldberunasaseparate,
singlelengthof2-wirecablefromtheunittothevessel'sbatteryor
distributionpanel.
•Ensurethattheextensioncableisofasufficientgaugeforthesupply
voltageandthetotalloadofthedeviceandthelengthofthecablerun.

TheY achtSense™Linkunitincludesadedicatedgroundingpoint,which
MUSTbeconnectedasdescribedbelow.
Important:
Connecttheproduct’sgroundingpointtoyourvessel’scommonRF
ground.OnvesselswithoutanRFgroundsystem,connecttheproduct’s
groundingpointdirectlytothevessel’snegativebatteryterminal.This
dedicatedgroundingpointisNOTanoptionalconnection.
Thevessel’sdcpowersystemshouldbeeither:
•Negativegrounded(“bonded”),withthenegativebatteryterminal
connectedtothevessel'sRFground.
•Floating,withneitherbatteryterminalconnectedtothevessel'sground.
