Installing the User Account Enhance Unit
• Do not touch the inside of the controller board compartment. Doing so may cause a malfunction or
burn.
• Before beginning work, ground yourself by touching something metal to discharge any static elec-
tricity. Static electricity can damage the user account enhance unit.
• Do not subject the user account enhance unit to physical shocks.
1. Check the contents of the package.
2. Turn the printer off and unplug the power cable.
3. Remove the five screws securing the controller board.
The removed screws will be used to secure the controller board again later.
