The update will install the firmware and verify the installation of the files. Once finished, the printer will
power down. See Figure 10.2-6 for an example of the screen you will see during update.
Once the USB has been removed, turn on the printer. Be sure to confirm the printer model and
firmware version number located under the About Printer menu is the same as the one downloaded
from the website.

Update failed multiple times
If the update fails more the once, note the percentage the update failed and block number. Perform the
update again and if the update fails at the same point, notify technical support. If however the update
fails at a different point, try again. If Fails, it will show on a screen like Figure 10.2-8, but will say,
“Update Failed”, “Not found” or “Incomplete Signature package.”
