To remove the left drip absorber tray, the table must be moved all the way out to the home position and
the 2 screws must be removed so the tray can be pulled out.
7: Changing Fan Filters
To replace the fan filter, remove fan cover and replace filter. After swapping the filter, put the fan cover
back in place.

8: Cleaning the Printer
Clean the printer a few times a year to keep the printer operating properly.
While cleaning, be careful not touch or soil any of the pulleys, the belt and the Carriage Encoder
Strip located behind the Print Head Carriage movement area.
Never use any solvent to clean the printer. These chemicals can damage the printer
components.
Do not use a hard or abrasive brush.
Do not lubricate the inside of the printer. Unsuitable oil or lubricants can damage the
mechanisms. Contact a qualified RICOH Ri 3000/Ri 6000 service technician if lubrication is
needed.
