An IPDS-driven printer offers flexibility. For example, you can highlight a list of items by printing the list in
a different type style from the rest of the text; or you can print your letterhead in one font and your text in
another font.
You can electronically store your letterhead so it is always printed in the same type style. This printing
concept is discussed in page 12 "Using Overlays".
You can store your printed signature block so it is printed in the type style used in the rest of the letter or
memo. That way the signature block’s type style matches the letter in which it appears, no matter how
many different fonts you use for different kinds of letters. This printing concept is discussed in page 13
"Using Page Segments".
You can include bar charts or line graphs in your letter. Such graphic material can be generated through
either the Image function or the Graphics function. See page 14 "Using Images and Graphics".
