Gas pipe sizing must consider the gas
input to this appliance, as well as other
gas appliances in the premises. The gas
supply termination is inside the heater,
and enters from the lower left hand side
of the appliance.
Once the gas connection is completed
and checked for gas leaks lock the
sliding plate in place to stop the
connection rattling, refer image below.
Purging the gas supply
Foreign materials and debris such as
swarf, lings etc. must be purged from
the gas supply. Failure to do so may
cause damage to the control valve
causing it to malfunction.
The use of rubber hose for any gas
connection to a xed appliance is NOT
authorised by the manufacturer.
Once installed the room temperature thermistor should be set so the bulb on the end is outside of
the re box and into an area where room air will be drawn over it, refer image above. Make sure it
will still be accessible for service when the wall linings have been installed.
