Unpacking the Racks

Rittal is not responsible for damage sustained through poor handling and misuse. Mechanical and
functional concerns should be reported immediately to Rittal.
Receiving Inspection
Inspect the package and contents for shipping damage, and make sure that all parts have been sent.
Report any damage immediately to the shipping agent.
Please Recycle
Some of the shipping materials are recyclable. Save them for later use or dispose of them appropriately.
WORKING WITH RACK
• This rack is easily tipped. Use extreme caution when handling.
• Instructed or Skilled persons to handle rack only.
• People unpacking rack to wear PPE in accordance with local risk assessments and local
regulations.
• Only use safety knife (example shown) when opening packaging.

Removing Rack from Pallet
TIP / HEAVY EQUIPMENT
• This rack is easily tipped. Use extreme caution when handling.
• Instructed or Skilled persons to handle rack only.
o Only Microsoft approved SOP logistics systems to be used to move rack.
▪ This includes but not restricted to unbolting, removing from pallet, moving and
handling and final deployment.
• People handling the rack must wear PPE in accordance with local risk assessments and local
regulations.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury or equipment
damage.
• Only Microsoft approved SOP and risk assessed logistics systems to be used to remove rack
from pallet.
