Introduction
This manual covers the installation and the customisation of the Microsoft MoR Generation 6 rack range.
Permissible use: Compile IT equipment such as Servers, Storages, Networking, and Power
supply to installation blocks in data centres. The Microsoft MoR Generation 6 rack range is
not a ship loadable product, i.e. racks must not be transported with integrated systems
installed.
Restrictions and limitations of permissible use: Not to be used as an electrical cabinet that
provides essential protection against access to live parts and serves as earthed enclosure in
Class 1 equipment. Use within functional specification that defines static and dynamic and
ship loadable, environmental conditions, installation manual / guide, etc. Do not stand on rack.
Foreseeable misuse: Misconfiguration - loading against functional specification, neglecting
limits for ship loadable transport, neglecting the installation and transportation guidelines
given by Rittal. Standing or climbing on rack.
User Groups:
o Skilled Person acc. IEC62368 (knows the specification, technical limits, safety hints):
Entire configuration and installation of the rack. After installation services.
In charge of work preparation procedures including but not restricted to:
Configuration
Integration of equipment
Shipping
Transportation into the data centre
Installation and further integration into the data centre
In charge of work preparation procedures for service, retrofit and dismantling
o Instructed Persons acc. IEC62368 (instructed by skilled person, following work
preparation procedures):
