Disconnect Gas
Close the gas bag’s hose clamp and
immediately remove the gas bag from the
tubing stub on the GD-70D’s GAS IN fitting.
OR
Disconnect the calibration tubing from the
tubing stub on the GAS IN fitting.
Span Adjustment
Using the or keys, adjust the reading to
match the concentration in your gas bag. If
you diluted your gas, the concentration is half
of what is listed on the calibration cylinder.
Press the SET key.

The instrument will indicate whether the span
adjustment passed (OK) or failed (NG).

automatically.

Returning to Detection Mode
Store the components of the calibration kit in a safe place.
Reconnect the dust filter and inlet line to the GAS IN fitting.
Press and hold the MODE key to return to Detection Mode.
CAUTION
Exhaust gas must be collected
in the exhaust bag or discharged
through the exhaust line.
