<Suppression Function>
Some sensors are influenced by environmental changes (temperature, humidity, and other characteristics)
or interference gases which may cause the reading to vary in fresh air.
The suppression function is used to hide (suppress) the variation of the reading under the set suppression
value, so that the display indicates zero (or 20.9% for oxygen) until the reading exceeds the set
suppression value.
The factory setting for the suppression function is OFF for every gas type except for oxygen.
<<Example: SiH4 0 - 15 ppm range>>
A variation around zero is displayed as the reading.
A variation under the set suppression value (ie. 6% of full scale or 0.9 ppm for
SiH4) is shown as zero.
CAUTION
• If the zero reading is BELOW zero, the reading will not change until the reading reaches -10% of full
scale.
• A reading that is -10% of full scale is displayed as "-0.0".
