Askallpassengerstogotoasafeyardbefore
replacingthesparetire.
Ifpossible,chooseasafeplacetostopawayfromthemain
thoroughfare.Alwaysaskyourpassengerstogetoutofthe
carandwaitinasafeareaawayfromothertrafc.
Switchonhazardlights.Ifavailable,positionawarning
triangleoraashingamberlight100metresbehindyour
vehicletowarnapproachingtrafc.
Beforechangingawheel,ensurethefrontwheelsareinthe
straightaheadposition,applytheparkingbrakeandplace
theshiftleverofAMTinpositionN.
Observethefollowingprecautions:
•Ensurethejackispositionedonrm,levelground.
•Ifvehicleshavetobeparkedinaslope,wedge-shaped
bumpershallbeplacedbefore/aftertheotherthree
wheelstoavoidthevehiclemoving.
