waterjetsdirectlyatcomponentsthatmight
beeasilydamaged.
Roaddirt,oil,airbornepollutantsanddepositsfrombirds
andtreescandamagethepaintwork.Inordertopreserve
thepaintnish,washthecarfrequentlyandobservethe
followingcarepoints:
•DONOTusehotwatertowashthecar.
•Inhotweather,DONOTwashthecarindirectsunlight.
•Whenusingahose,DONOTaimthewaterdirectly
atwindow,doororsunroofseals,orthroughwheel
aperturesontothebrakecomponents.
Ifthecarisparticularlydirty,useahosetoushgrimeand
gritfromthebodywork,priortowashing.Then,washthe
carusingcoldorlukewarmwatercontainingagoodquality
washandwaxshampoo.Alwaysuseplentyofwaterto
ensurethatgritisushedfromthesurfaceandnotground
intothepaintwork.Afterwashing,rinsethebodywork
withcleanwateranddryoffwithachamoisleather.
RemovingT arSpots
Usetarcleanertoremovetarspotsandstubborngrease
stainsfromthepaintwork,thenwashtheareaimmediately
withwater.
CleaningtheUnderside
Duringwintermonthsifsalthasbeenusedontheroads,
useahosetowashtheundersideofthecar.Flushaway
accumulationsofmudandthoroughlycleanthoseareas
wheredebriscaneasilycollect.
EngineCompartment
DONOTuseahighpressurehosetoclean
theenginecompartment-damagetothe
car'selectronicsystemsmayoccur.
Theenginecompartmentmustonlybecleanedbysteam
cleaning.
