notreplacetheneedtowearaseatbelt.

TheSRSsystemincorporatesfrontairbagsforboththe

driverandfrontseatpassenger.Thefrontairbagsare

locatedinthecentrepadofthesteeringwheelandinthe

fasciapanelabovetheglovebox.

Note:Thefrontairbagsarenotdesignedtooperateas

aresultofrearcollision,minorfrontalorsideimpacts,

orifthevehicleoverturns;norwillitoperateasaresult

ofheavybraking.

Note:Inationanddeationofthefrontairbagstakes

placeveryquicklyandwillnotprotectagainstthe

effectsofsecondaryimpactsthatmayoccur.

Providedthefrontseatoccupantsarecorrectlyseatedand

withseatbeltsproperlyworn,theairbagswillprovide

additionalprotectiontothechestandfacialareasinthe

eventofthecarreceivingaseverefrontalimpact.
