Whentheoillevelonthedipstickisabove
the‘MAX’markorbelowthe‘MIN’mark,
continuingtodrivethevehiclewilldamage
theengine.
T akecarenottospilltheoilonthehot
engine,whichmaycauseare.

Checktheoillevelweeklyandllaccordingtoneed.When
checkingtheoillevel,stopthevehicleontheatground
andkeeptheenginecold.Iftheengineisrunningandhas
becamehot,waittwominutesatleastafterturningoffthe
ignitionswitchandthenchecktheoillevel.
1Pulloutthedipstickandwipeofftheoilonit.
2Insertthedipstickslowly,pullitoutagaintocheck
theoillevelwhichisnotallowedtobelowthe‘MIN’
markonthedipstick.
3Screwofftheoilllercapandaddoiltomaintainthe
oillevelbetweenthe‘MAX’markand‘MIN’mark
onthedipstick.
4Checktheoillevelafterwaiting5minutesandadd
properamountofoilifnecessary(DONOTadd
excessively!).
5Finally,ensurethatthedipstickhasbeeninsertedand
theoilllercaphasbeenclosed.
IMPORT ANT
Ifthevehiclehasbeendrivenathighspeedfor
extendedperiodsoftime,theoilshouldbechecked
frequently.
