DoNOTdriveifanytyreisdamaged,is
excessivelyworn,orisinatedtoanincorrect
pressure.
Alwaysdrivewithconsiderationfortheconditionofthe
tyres,andregularlyinspectthetreadandsidewallsforany
signofdistortion(bulges),cutsorwear .
Note:Ifpossible,protecttyresfromcontaminationby
oil,grease,fuelandotherautomotiveuids.
T yrePressures
Checkthepressures(includingthesparewheel)atleast
everyweek,whenthetyresarecold.
Ifitisnecessarytocheckthetyreswhentheyarewarm,
youshouldexpectthepressurestohaveincreasedby0.3to
0.4bar.Inthiscircumstance,NEVERletairoutofthetyres
inordertomatchtherecommendedpressures(cold).
Valves
Keepthevalvecapsscreweddownrmly-theypreventdirt
fromenteringthevalve.Checkthevalveforleaks(listen
foratell-talehissing)whenyoucheckthetyrepressure.
T yreWearIndicators
T yresttedasoriginalequipmenthavewearindicators
mouldedintothetreadpatternatseveralpointsaroundthe
circumference.Whenthetreadhasworndownto1.6mm,
theindicatorswillcometothesurfaceofthetreadpattern,
