When Iopen the Device Manager (by clickingStart _ (Settings)
Control Panel _ (Performance and Maintenance)_ System
(Hardware)_ Device Manager),there are UnknownDevices or Other
Devices entrieswith a yellow question mark(?) beside themor devices
with an exclamation mark(!)beside them.
Right-click on theentry with the question (?) or exclamation(0 mark
and select"Remove". Restartthe PCand connect the camera again.
ForWindows 98 PC removethe camera driveralso, restart the PC,
andthen reinstallthe camera driver.
Insome securityprograms (NortonAntiVirus, V3,etc.), the computer
may not recognisethe cameraas a removabledisk.
Stop the sacurity programsand connectthe camerato the computer.
Refertothe security program instructionsabout howto temporarily
disablethe program.
The camera isconnected tothe USBport located on the frontof the
computer.
When the camera isconnected to the USB port locatedon the frontof
the computer, thecomputer may not recognisathe camera. Connect
the camerato the USB portlocated on the back of the computer.
• When the movieclip doesn'tplayback on the PC
÷ When the movieclip recorded by the camera doesn'tplay back on the PC,
the causes are mostly dueto thecedec installedon the PC.
• When codecfor playback the movieclip isn't installed
Installthe codec as listedbelow.

1)tnsertthe CD providedwith the camera.
2) Runthe windows explorer andselect [CD-ROM dfive:_XviD]folder and
click the XviD-1.0.3-20122004.exefile.

2) Clickthe [Free Download]button locatedatthe upper right sideofthe page
anda window fordownloading the DivX codecwill display.
3) Select Mac OS you use andclick the [Download]button.Save iton a folder
you want to.
4) Runthe downloaded file andthe codecfor playingback the movie clipwill
be installed.
÷ Ifa movie clip can't playback on the MacOS, use a mediaplayer that
supportsXviD codec (Mplayer).
