Main operating range of commercial A/C is 50%~75% which affects the total system efficiency.
• In case of U.S.A., DOE(Department of Energy) investigated operating range of chillers in 29 cities during 25 Years. Based on
this data, weighting of part load point in efficiency calculation for chillers are established.
• Weighting of part load point(1998 ASHRAE Standard. AIR 550/590)
