Basic Recording
•t, You can view the playback picture on the LCD monitor.
•t, Make sure that the battery pack is in pIace.
f. Hold down the tab of the Power switch and turn it to the PLAYERposition.

Open the LCD monitor and make sure that STOP is displayed.
Adjust the angle of the LCD monitor and set the brightness or the color if necessary.
Press the _ (REW) button to rewind the tape to the start point.
• To stop REWIND, press the • (STOP) button.
• Camcorder stops automatical(yafter rewinding.
Press the I'/11 (PLAY/STILL)button tostart playback.
• You can see the pictureyou recorded on the LCD.
• To stop the PLAYoperation, press the • (STOP) button.
• You can also view the picture on a TV screen, after connectingthe camcorder to a TV or VCR. (see page 62)
• Various functions are available in piayback mode. (see page 64)
