7.7.17 Parameters in the “Connections / Connected Devices / External USB Keys

Parameter Setting Values Explanation
Press key 1 (F1)
Release key 1 (F2)
Press key 2 (F3)
Release key 2 (F4)
Press key 3 (F5)
Release key 3 (F6)
No action Deactivates the function of the connected device.
Start / cancel taring Starts a taring process or cancels a taring process.
Start / cancel zeroing Starts the zeroing process or cancels the zeroing process.
Zeroing / taring Starts or ends the “Zeroing/taring” function.
Ionizer key If the device is equipped with an ionizer: Starts or ends the
ionizer function.
Takeover key Starts an application or adopts displayed weight values.
Left key, draft shield If the device is equipped with a motorized draft shield:
Executes the left palm key function.
Right key, draft shield If the device is equipped with a motorized draft shield:
Executes the right palm key function.
Open left (DI / DA) If the device is equipped with a motorized draft shield:
Opens the left side panel.
Open right (DI / DA) If the device is equipped with a motorized draft shield:
Opens the right side panel.
Open top (DI / DA) If the device is equipped with a motorized draft shield:
Opens the upper panel.
Close all (DI / DA) If the device is equipped with a motorized draft shield:
Closes all draft shield doors.

Parameter Setting Values Explanation
NTP configuration NTP operating status Activates or deactivates the time synchronization with the
NTPserver.
Server IP Saves the entered server ID for the NTP server.
Set the date and
time
Date format Sets the date display format to DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY,
DD.MM.YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD (ISO)*, YYYY:MM:DD,
DD-MMM-YYYY or MMM-DD-YYYY.
Set date Saves the entered date.
Time format Sets the time display format to HH.MM.SS, HH:MM:SS (ISO)*
orHH:MM:SS am/pm.
Set time Saves the entered time.
Time zone Saves the selected time zone.
