Testing a Sample
A test can only be initiated from the Standby or Test
Done screen� The program that will be used is shown in
the upper left corner�
To test a sample, perform the following:
1) Open the hood of the heater module using the
handle on the front of the analyzer�
Caution
The heater hood will be hot during testing and the
standby mode�
Only touch the heater hood by the handle�
2) Place one pan onto the pan support and close the
heater hood�
3) From the Standby screen, press the Start|Stop key�
The display will change to the test mode as shown on
the left� The balance will automatically tare and show
zero weight on the screen�
Note
If you forgot to place the pan onto the balance ahead
of time, you may open the heater hood now, add the
pan, close the heater hood and manually tare by press-
ing the Zero soft key�
