§ To initiate an automatic temperature calibration and
adjustment, press the 5 for Automatic Temp Cal� The
screen will change to the Temperature screen�
§ The analyzer will automatically begin at two
temperatures (80°C and 150°C)� Each of Cal 1 and Cal 2
temperature steps will take 20 minutes�
The time elapsed is shown on the screen� As soon as the
Cal 1 temperature phase has expired, Cal 2 will begin
automatically�
§ When the Cal 2 phase has elapsed, the screen will
change to show that adjustment has been completed�
§ The analyzer will then verify the adjustment by check-
ing at 130°C for 20 minutes� The entire temp calibra-
tion and adjustment process takes
60 minutes�
§ The “Temp adjust done” screen will show both the
pre-adjusted temperature, along with the postadjusted
temperature for both calibration
temperatures�
§ The time and date of last temperature calibration and
adjustment is automatically updated on System menu�
§ Pressing the Arrow soft key anytime during the
temperature adjustment will abort the “auto temp cal”
process� The screen will return to the “Auto temp cal”
screen without adjusting the analyzer temperature cali-
bration�
