C. The machine will wait for a few seconds for the amplifiers to "normalize".
D. During intervals A, B, and C above, the EJECTOR LED's (See Figure 1-1) will
illuminate red. This only indicates that the two ejector power supplies
have not been turned on yet.
E. The ejector power supplies will be turned on, and the EJECTOR LED's will
turn off.
If any of the EJECTOR LED's remain illuminated red, this indicates an ejector fault
for that particular channel, or a blown fuse on the Ejector Connector PCB (See Figure
2-28). The vibratory feeder for a particular channel will not operate if there is an
ejector fault in that channel.
Depressing the POWER switch again will turn the machine off.
NOTE:
The ScanMasterII TOUCH SCREEN Program and Windows operating
system must be closed down properly.
2.2.2 STATUS INDICATOR
If the control computer is operating normally, the COMPUTER indicator lamp in the
top half of the STATUS switch will be illuminated green. If the watchdog identifies a
problem, this lamp will be turned off. The computer function should be checked.
If any hard fault (power supplies, lamps, low air pressure, etc.) is detected, the
FAULT indicator lamp in the bottom half of the STATUS switch will be illuminated
red. More information on these faults can be found by opening the cabinet and
looking at the fault LED’s on the Monitor Control PCB.
2.3 TOUCH SCREEN OPERATOR INTERFACE
The TOUCH SCREEN Panel allows the Operator to communicate with the
ScanMasterII.
At the top of each screen, the header will indicate the number and name of the
preset being used (See Section 2.5.3), the sort mode (See Section 2.5.2.2) and the
security level (See Section 2.3.1).
2.3.1 SECURITY LEVEL
There are three levels of user access: LEVEL I, LEVEL II and LEVEL III. Normally,
LEVEL I will grant access to the MAIN, STATUS, GRAB and ERN screens. LEVEL II will
grant access to all previous screens, plus the SETUP and BG screens. LEVEL III will
grant access to all previous screens, plus the MAINT screens. When access is
attempted to a screen that is restricted from the current security level, as shown at
the top of each screen, the Security Login Window (Figure 2-3) will appear. This
window can also be called by touching the button which shows the current security
level at the top of any screen. From the Login Window, to change security level,
touch the security level desired.
