1 Screw Connections
Tightening torques
It is unconditionally required to apply the tightening
torques stated in the construction drawings and in the
manual.
If no tightening torques are stated then the values
indicated in the following table are valid, depending on
thread size and property class.
NOTE
The coefficients of friction for rust−proof screws usually
are a little bit higher. Given that these are always slightly
oiled or screwed down with bonding material
(corresponds to slightly oiled), a total coefficient of
friction of m

=0.13 was chosen.
