6.4.1 Disassembling the GWB 34 - 80 module

WARNING
Risk of injury due to unexpected movements!
If the power supply is switched on or residual energy remains in
the system, components can move unexpectedly and cause
serious injuries.
Before starting any work on the product: Switch off the power
supply and secure against restarting.
Make sure, that no residual energy remains in the system.
Ø Remove the compressed air line.
Ø Screw the upper part (2) and lower part (1) apart with the four
screws (16).
WARNING
In the event of a defect, the parts may be under spring tension.
Clamp the gripper between "a" and "b" before screwing it
apart. Then unclamp it carefully.
Ø Carefully remove the screw (18) and the underlying sealing disk (24).
