7) Troubleshooting
(1) Pinion does not advance even though the key switch is turned ON.
Unit Cause Remedy
Wiring
Disconnected wire, untightened battery and switch terminals, or
improper contact of the inserting part.

Helical spline of the pinion shaft is scored and prevents the pinion
