7.6.4 Diagnostics
Overview

he process data status bits can be used as input elements for the logic.

Ineffectiveness of the protective device due to the use of non-safe diagnostic data for
safety-related applications
The dangerous state may not be stopped or not be stopped in a timely manner in the
event of non-compliance.

cuit or communication error). I.e., the input bits may have

is “Off”. With test pulses, also in case of short-circuits to VCC

All safety outputs of the module are “Off”, regardless of the
logic result.
