ou can only export applications containing protected logic pages after logging into
the required logic access level.

The main module, the logic access levels, and the passwords are not exported.
You need to set up the password protection again after importing a module config‐
uration.

You can use this function to replace a main module in the configuration software.
To do so, export the module configuration of your project, create a new project with
a new main module, and import the module configuration.
7.4.9.2 Importing the module configuration
Approach
1.
In the context menu of the main module, select the Import configuration... command.

The Import configuration dialog box opens.
2. Select the import file.
3. Click on OK.
✓
The module configuration is imported.
Complementary information
•
The hardware of the module configuration is added to the hardware configuration
of the current project.
•
The logic program of the module configuration is added to new pages in the logic
editor of the current project.
7.4.10 Tag name editor
You can use the tag name editor to edit the tag names of the elements in use from
one cent
ral location. For example, you can assign descriptive names to make it easier
to identify the elements in the application. You can also export the tag names for other
applications.
7.4.10.1 Editing tag names
Approach
1.
In the Navigation pane, open the Tag name editor.
2. Click on Logic results and CPU marker or Locale I/O.

The Tag name editor opens.
3. Edit the tag names.
✓
The new tag names are applied.
7.4.10.2 Importing and exporting tag names

ou can import tag names from a CSV file or export them to a CSV file.
Approach
To import tag names
1. In the Navigation pane, click on Import/export tag names under Tag name editor.
2. Click on the Import tag names button.
3. Select the desired CSV file.

The tag names are imported.
To export tag names
1. In the Navigation pane, click on Import/export tag names under Tag name editor.
2. Click on the Export tag names button.
