MOL = object speed (mm/ms) x minimum dwell time (ms) + 3 mm
The formula for calculating the minimum dwell time can be found in chapter under
Characteristics.
11.1.3 Minimum object width (MOW)
Description, see "Beam separation, minimum object size, minimum object width and
minimum object length", page 11.
Beam crossing allows flat (infinitely thin) objects to be detected if they have a certain
minimum object width (MOW = minimum object width). The detection depends on the
object position and on the set cross-beam option. The following graphic serves for a
better understanding:
