11.1 Resolution
To determine the resolution, 3 essential parameters have to be distinguished:
MDO: Minimum detectable object = minimum object size
MOL: Minimum object length
MOW: Minimum object width (only relevant in cross-beam mode)
The minimum object size differs between parallel-beam mode and cross-beam mode.

Cross-beam mode
A description of cross-beam mode can be found in chapter 3.2.4.
In cross-beam mode, the MDO depends on the beam separation, the cross-beam
option and the object position between the sender and receiver. The following graphic
serves for a better understanding:
