8.1.3 Detailed Device Status
The Detailed Device Status is a list of currently pending events. The list represents 8
events (maximum number of SLG-2 events). Each entry has a length of 3 bytes or
3 octets and contains information about the event type (contained via the Event Qualifier)
as well as about the Event Code. The last event that occurred is always at index 1
(dynamic list).

8.2 Device-specific diagnostic information
In addition to the IO-Link-specific diagnostic information, additional diagnostic informa‐
tion about the process or service data can be transmitted via the System status as well
as limited via pin 2 with the Masked system status output option. In addition, SOPAS ET
offers a user-friendly display of this diagnostic information.
