When fastening the VESA adapter, shock or vibration is not permitted.
Degree of protection for overall device
If you secure the device using a VESA adapter, IP65 degree of protection and UL50E
enclosure type 4X / 12 (indoor use only) of the entire device will be lost. Spray and water
jets as well as penetrating substances can then damage the device.
Dimensioning of the VESA adapter
When selecting the VESA adapter, make sure that it is designed for at least four times the

Inadequately dimensioned fastening material may cause the device to fall down. Serious
bodily injury may result.
Make sure that fasteners are adequately dimensioned during installation of the device.
Make sure to consider the weight of the device and the forces acting on the device when
dimensioning the fasteners. This applies in particular to dynamic load of the device. All
fasteners including mounting surfaces, support arm systems, and fastening elements such
as screws must be able to carry at least four times the weight of the device.
Observe any further statutory specifications applying at the location of use of the device and
further applicable regulations with regard to the fastening of the device.
