Horizontal and vertical installation
You can mount an S7-300 either vertically or horizontally. The following ambient air
temperatures are permitted:
• Vertical assembly: 0 °C to 40 °C
• Horizontal assembly: 0 °C to 60 °C
Always install the CPU and power supply modules on the left or at the bottom.
