A.2 Transmission Rates
Transmission Rates
The tables below indicate the transmission times required depending on the transmission
protocol selected.
Two S7-400s each with a CPU 416 (6ES7 416-2XK02-0AB0) and a CP 440 were used to
measure the times. A SEND_440 FB was programmed in the user program of the active
CPU, and a RECV_440 FB was programmed in the user program of the passive CPU. The
time that elapsed between the initiation and completion of the request was measured.
