5.2 Installing the Programming Interface
Installation
The CP 440: Point -to-Point Communication, Parameter Assignment interface is supplied
together with the function blocks and the programming examples on a CD.
To install the engineering tool:
1. Insert the CD into the CD drive of your programming device/PC.
2. Under Windows 95/NT or Windows 98, start the dialog for installing software by double-
clicking the "Add/Remove Programs" icon in "Control Panel".
3. In the dialog box, select the CD drive and the "Setup.exe" file and start installation.
4. Follow the step-by-step instructions of the Setup program.
