8.10 Inspecting the gearbox
Carry out a scheduled inspection of the gearbox once a year in accordance with the possible
criteria listed in General notes about maintenance work (Page 59).
Check the gearbox in accordance with the criteria set out in General information and safety
notes (Page 7).
Touch up damaged paintwork carefully.
8.11 Replacing the hose of the oil expansion unit
The hose of the oil expansion unit is subject to natural wear. The service life depends on the
operating conditions.
Check the hose regularly for tears or leaks.
Renew the hose every 4 years at the latest.
