6.5 Mounting the motor spindle
6.5.1 Preparation
To install the stator in the spindle housing you require the following installation equipment
and resources.
Assembly tools and resources required
● Hoisting gear with suitable load suspension device
● Eyebolts
● Centering assembly fixture
● Assembly film
● Personnel protective equipment
6.5.2 Acting magnetic forces
Note
This chapter applies only to rotors with permanent magnets (synchronous version).
The higher magnetic forces present as a result of the permanent magnets in the rotor draw
the spindle into the stator bore.
