Connecting-up Power Modules
Line supply connection Motor connection Connect the braking resistor
The supply system is connected to
terminals U1/L1, V1/L2, and W1/L3.
Power Modules without an integrated
line filter can be connected to grounded
(TN, TT) and non-grounded (IT) line
supply systems. Power Modules with
an integrated class A line filter are only
suitable for TN supply systems.
The motor is connected to terminals
U2, V2, and W2.
The following cable lengths are
permissible:
• Unshielded
100 m
• Shielded,
50 m for converters without filter
25 m for converters with filter
Additional information is provided in
Catalog D11.1 for longer cable lengths
A braking resistor can be connecting at
terminals DCP/R1 and R2.
