3 ST750ELV Hardware Allocation and Connectivity
3.1 ST750ELV Outercase Selection
With reference to Table 5 the ST750ELV can be specified in two base cabinets; the 400S,
referred to as the Small Outercase or the ST900, referred to as the Large Outercase. Handbook
667/HB/32750/000 has details on the cabinet dimensions. With knowledge of the number of
traffic streams to be controlled, and with reference to Table 5, the basic functional cabinet can be
specified. The Outercases listed in Table 5 are equipped, at order time for onward configuration,
with the following major items:
• ST750ELV Backplane Rack Assembly (configured with the appropriate PCBs)
• Mains Transformer
• Master Switch Assembly
• Back Panel
The basic functional and control units for the controller are contained within the ST750ELV
Backplane Rack Assembly. This unit can be ordered as a standalone (Cuckoo) unit and fitted to a
controller cabinet. With reference to Table 5, the ST750ELV can be ordered for the UK
applications in a Small Outercase (400S), a Large Outercase (ST900) or as a ST750ELV
Standalone (Cuckoo) Backplane Rack Assembly. A single traffic stream separated by an Island
will require a Dual Pedestrian Controller to be specified.
Note: A swing frame is not fitted as standard in any of the cabinets.
