9.2.6.1 Activation and setpoints
Room temperature control can only be activated for controller 1, basic type A. To
activate room temperature control, assign input identifier ROOM to the room
temperature.

PID control is used to maintain the room temperature at the adjusted setpoint.

9.2.6.3 Troubleshooting
When you leave the commissioning menu, the universal controller checks whether
a room temperature sensor is connected.

• If, at that time, a room temperature value is available, but is missing later, a
sensor error message is delivered and presented on the display:
"Xx ---" => sensor missing or "Xx ooo" => short-circuit
• If, at that time, there is no room temperature value (main controlled variable in
this case), the plant will be shut down (MAINALM):
