6 Using the centrifuge
Version 07/2012, Rev. 1.22 of 08/05/2020 sb

The runtime is considered faulty if the centrifugation run had to be stopped
prematurely.
Fig. 20: Example of a centrifugation monitoring message
NOTE
If the centrifugation monitoring system is used in combination with free
acceleration or deceleration curves, unjustified error messages may result
in certain cases.
Spin-out from…
If this function is active, the drive will be disconnected if the actual speed is
below the set speed. As a result, the rotor decelerates and stops in a
brakeless manner.
HINWEIS
A spin-out, in particular with heavy rotors and at high speeds, can take a
lot of time! (Depending on the rotor and load, the speed will be reduced by
approximately 0.5 to 1 rpm per second.)
If the spin-out is active, "+0" is displayed next to the deceleration curve.
The spin-out can be interrupted by a quick stop or by restarting the
centrifuge.
Lock
In order to prevent any unauthorised use of the centrifuge, the following
functions can be blocked:
Saving of programs (level 01)
Changing of parameters, short run (level 02)
Loading of programs (level 03)
Start button (level 04)
