Parameter Description
Auto-Open Backup
Window
When checked, displays the Backup window automatically when a
SimpleTech removable media drive is attached to your computer. To
disable this feature, uncheck this option. This option is also available in
the StorageSync Settings window (see “Auto-Open Backup Window”
on page 77).
Disable Auto-Launch
When checked, attaching a removable media drive to your computer
will not start StorageSync automatically. If Auto-Open Backup
Window is also checked, StorageSync displays the Backup window
automatically. To enable Auto-Launch, uncheck this option. This
option is also available in the StorageSync Settings window (see
“Auto-Launch” on page 76).
Exit StorageSync
Closes the StorageSync program.
Understanding the Welcome Window
The Welcome window appears when you start StorageSync manually (see “Starting
StorageSync Manually” on page 22. The Welcome window contains buttons for performing
various tasks. Figure 9 shows the Welcome window and Table 2 describes the buttons on it.
