The Restore window also lets you delete backed up files on the source media drive.
Perform steps 1 through 7 as described. Then, in step 8, click the Delete button.
When a message asks if you are sure you want to delete the selected file(s) from the
source media drive, click Yes to delete them or No to retain them.
Detailed Restore Instructions
The following sections provide detailed information about the steps used to restore data.
Selecting a Source Drive and a Target Media Drive
To restore files, you must have at least one target media drive and at least one source drive.
The target media drive is the drive that holds the backed-up files.
The source drive is the repository that will hold the restored files.
The Drives button on the left side of the StorageSync window lets you specify these drives.
When you click this button, the Drive Manager screen appears (see Figure 17). This screen
shows the source and target drives that are available, as well as their drive information. If you
have more than one drive, click the drive to view its information in the Drive Information
areas at the bottom of the screen.
