Log speed sensor set to ON, the position display will show water
speed from external log sensor (via ECHO1 port).
- with NMEA sentence VHW set to ON, the readout will show water
speed from external water speed instrument (via NMEA port).
Log speed calibration: Calibrate log speed readout by increasing/de-
creasing the number of pulses per nautical mile see also Appendix A.
Speed alarm: can be set to maximum and/or minimum cruising speed.
This may be handy for trawl fishing, entering into harbors with speed
limits, etc.
How to reset an alarm (applies to all activated alarms in the system):
CLR
Reset alarm
Setup for units:
Depth/altitude can be set to meters (m), feet (f), or fathoms (fm).
Distances can be calculated in nautical miles (nm), kilometers (km), or
statute miles (mi).
Speed can be shown in knots (kn), kilometers/hour (kh), or miles/hour
(mh).
Temperature can be shown in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Software version indicates which software version is installed in the
unit.
PAGE rotation interval is default to 5 seconds, but can be altered to
anywhere from 03 to 99 seconds to suit the usersneed.

PAGE
system.
Display text in: As standard the EQXX is supplied with the following
display languages to choose from: Danish (DK), English (GB), French
(F), German (D), Italian (I), Nederlands (NL), Spanish (E), Swedish (S)
and Portuguese (P).
