The connection cable between the dual station and the main unit is a special pair-
twisted cable of 15 meters (not extendable), which consists of the following
wires:

9.5.1 Operation of DS40/42/50/52 remote control
The main unit and the dual station operate in parallel. All key commands on the
dual station are relayed to the main unit – EQXX – and the display picture is
instantly transferred back via a high speed data link.
Adjust light/contrast in screen and background light in keypad via the
[PWR]
key.
