Introduction
About this unit
The P2005 and P3007 units are touch controlled color displays.
P2005 units support several languages, while P3007 support English
language in menus and dialogs.
Both units offer multiple analog-style gauges as well as configurable
digital data display layouts. The units support a wide variety of I/O
signal types.
The P2005 unit can be used in GPS systems for workboats in the
light professional segment and for other non-SOLAS vessels. The
P2005 can be paired with a wide range of Simrad GPS antenna or
GPS compasses.
The P3007 unit can be used for SOLAS vessels. Paired with high-
precision antennas, the P3007 system can be configured as GPS,
DGPS and THD (Transmitting Heading Device).

An AIS page is available if a compatible AIS receiver is connected to
the network. The AIS page is not type approved.
NMEA 0183 equivalence with IEC 61162-1
This device uses the term NMEA 0183 in menus and dialogs. NMEA
0183 is equivalent with the IEC standard IEC 61162-1.
