9. HEIGHT AND DIRECTION OF PRESSER FOOT
A. HEIGHT OF PRESSER FOOT
The height of the presser foot from the needle plate
should be 6.5 mm when it is lifted up.
If adjustment is needed, follow these procedures:
1. Remove the rear cover.
2. Loosen the screw (a) located behind of the machine.
(2.5 mm hex. wrench)
3. Adjust the height and direction of presser foot.
4. Retighten the screw (a).
5. Check if the presser foot lifter has a slight play in
down position.

B. DIRECTION OF PRESSER FOOT
The edge of the presser foot is parallel with the feed
dog slot on the needle plate.
