3.3. Pressure regulating valve
Danger!
Piston pump units with reservoir must only
be operated with the pressure control
valve installed. Non-observance may result
in severe injury or death and damage to
property due to overpressure.
The pressure control valve prevents excessive
pressure in the entire lubrication system. It is
mounted directly on the lubricant outlet. If the
system pressure exceeds the cracking pressure of
the pressure regulating valve, the valve opens and
lubricant escapes at the valve.
