Section 3 - Operation Loading/Unloading
3.10-3b Lifting (61T/66T)
1. Rotate the boom and position the aerial platform
as shown in Figure 3-15 and Figure 3-16..
2. Turn main power disconnect switch to off
position.
3. Clear platform of all personnel, tools and materials.
WARNING
Whe n lif ting the a eria l p latf orm,
lifting devices must be attached to
designated lift points only (refer to
Figure 3-16 and Figure 3-17).
WARNING
Use chains with load capacity sufcient
to withstand aerial platform weight. Refer
to the serial plate of the aerial platform
for specic weight.
4. Properly adjust rigging to ensure aerial platform
remains level during lifting. See Center of gravity
location (Figure 3-15).
